It enables convenient commuting to work, taking children to school or kindergarten, going on holidays, and doing shopping. For many people, it is also a work tool that allows quick access to clients or delivery of materials.    <\/p>\n<p>A driving licence for a passenger car is currently a goal pursued by people of all ages, but it is especially desired by young people who are reaching adulthood. Category B not only allows them to drive independently but also increases their chances of good employment. A Category B driving licence authorizes the holder to drive a passenger car. To obtain it, it is necessary to complete a course and pass the state exam. Driving lessons in Gda\u0144sk are organized by OSK Speed.    <\/p>\n<h3>What Authorizations Does a Category B Driving Licence Provide?<\/h3>\n<p>Category B is the most popular and most frequently chosen category, both by people using a car for private and professional purposes. According to road traffic law, a Category B driving licence authorizes the holder to drive: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u2013 a motor vehicle with a maximum permissible weight (GVW) not exceeding 3.5 tonnes \u2013 except for buses and motorcycles,<\/li>\n<li>\u2013 a motor vehicle with a GVW up to 3.5 tonnes with a light trailer up to 750 kg GVW,<\/li>\n<li>\u2013 a motor vehicle with a GVW up to 3.5 tonnes with another trailer, provided that the total weight of the vehicle combination does not exceed 4250 kg (the driver is required to pass an additional practical exam and have this fact confirmed with an entry in the driving licence),<\/li>\n<li>\u2013 an agricultural tractor,<\/li>\n<li>\u2013 a slow-moving vehicle,<\/li>\n<li>\u2013 a slow-moving vehicle with a light trailer up to 750 kg GVW (within the country),<\/li>\n<li>\u2013 vehicles specified for Category AM driving licence.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>After three years from the date of issuance, Category B also authorizes the holder to drive a motorcycle with an engine capacity up to 125 cm\u00b3, power up to 11 kW and a power-to-weight ratio not exceeding 0.1 kW\/kg (only within the territory of Poland).<\/p>\n<h3>Who Can Enroll in a Category B Course?<\/h3>\n<p>The conditions for obtaining a Category B driving licence are specified in road traffic law. They primarily concern the candidate\u2019s age and the absence of medical contraindications. Both of these factors aim to eliminate drivers whose emotional maturity or health condition may pose a threat to other road users. To enroll in a Category B course, you must:   <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u2013 be at least 18 years old or reach that age before taking the state exam,<\/li>\n<li>\u2013 obtain a positive medical certificate,<\/li>\n<li>\u2013 create a Driver Candidate Profile (PKK) at the road traffic department in Gda\u0144sk,<\/li>\n<li>\u2013 pay the course fee in the agreed form (installments) and in the amount specified in the price list.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>See available driving course dates.<\/p>\n<h3>Training Location<\/h3>\n<p>The Speed Driving School in Gda\u0144sk offers a convenient location where the courses take place: <\/p>\n<p>Gda\u0144sk, ul. Gnilna 2, 1st floor, room 12 \u2013 Gnilna Office Center (entrance at the back of the CH Madison building near the underground parking entrance).  <\/p>\n<h3>Course Duration and Forms<\/h3>\n<p>Our driver training center ensures the best possible conditions for learners and proper preparation for the state exam. Confirmation of our efforts is the high pass rate of our students. We are aware that work, studies, and other obligations often make it difficult to attend daily lectures or practical classes. Therefore, we offer two attractive training formats:   <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u2013 afternoon courses \u2013 theoretical classes take place for three weeks, on Mondays and Wednesdays, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., 17:00 &#8211; 20:30,<\/li>\n<li>\u2013 morning courses \u2013 theoretical classes take place over 4 days: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., 9:00 &#8211; 13:30,<\/li>\n<li>\u2013 weekend courses \u2013 theoretical classes take place over 3 weekend days: Saturday\u2013Sunday\u2013Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. 9.00 &#8211; 14.30.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We also offer a holiday express course consisting of four morning meetings on weekdays. In addition to the scheduled lectures, we also organize first aid training on separate dates. <\/p>\n<h3>Course Scope<\/h3>\n<p>The Category B course program is defined by relevant driver training regulations. It includes 30 hours of theoretical instruction and 30 hours of mandatory driving practice (including part on the maneuvering yard). Candidates who want to improve their skills may purchase additional driving lessons. The Category B course material includes:   <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u2013 road traffic regulations \u2013 basic concepts, general and specific vehicle movement rules, road signs and signals, vehicle usage conditions, responsibility and obligations of the driver and vehicle owner,<\/li>\n<li>\u2013 driving technique \u2013 preparation for driving, starting and stopping, basic maneuvers, driving in difficult conditions (after dark, in fog, etc.), vehicle characteristics,<\/li>\n<li>\u2013 basic vehicle construction and maintenance principles \u2013 vehicle structure, systems, tires, electrical components, maintenance activities,<\/li>\n<li>\u2013 driving lessons \u2013 practical training of basic maneuvers and improving driving techniques in various situations,<\/li>\n<li>\u2013 behavior at the scene of an accident and first aid.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Why Choose a Course at OSK Speed?<\/h3>\n<p>Candidates applying for a passenger car driving licence at our school in Gda\u0144sk receive not only the best learning conditions.
